Special Edition:Museum Modern Wing

Composition: This piece just really hit me because of the red circle. The way everything is laid out so suttle and warm is interrupted by the red sun. As if it is burnig through the trees.
Craft: This piece has a very nice craft quality to it. The statue seemed as if it were really a sandy bone in the desert. The shading is done to perfection and the color of the background really compliments the statue. In person, this piece really caught my eye.
Concept: Basically this piece is interesting because it takes away majority of an object but still leaves just enough for you to recognize it is a guitar. I like when artists try to take objects out of their normal form ad just make one part of it recognizable rather than just painting a guitar as a whole. This leaves much more room for interpretation.
